Scary Man at the Museum

Yesterday I went to the Museum of Natural History. It was fun! BUT I SAW A CREEPY EXHIBIT on a very mean man. His name was Ghengis Kahn! He lead a battle before he became ruler of parts of China in the fourteenth century. But the Chinese didn’t want him to rule them so they attacked Ghengis’ Army. The way they attacked was awful! They opened big boulders, put oil in them, set them on fire and threw them at Ghengis. Their attack was so awful that Ghengis called his army to the Wall to fight the Chinese Army. His Army started to break the Wall with boulders so the Chinese wouldn’t have protection. The Army of the Chinese that was on the Wall when Ghengis attacked fell through and jumped off. Many other people died fighting against Ghengis and his Army. The result was that he became the ruler of almost all of China! He did many awful things to become ruler but lost many battles too. When he went to an area he held up a white staff with white horse hair or a black staff with black horse hair. The white one meant peace and the black one meant war. If you saw the black one you better run!

When he died of old age, the servants who buried him were killed by his Army too so no one would know where Ghengis’ body was buried. No one has found him and I don’t think they ever will!
